Winter Mayhem Returns – Stronger, Colder, and Full of Champions!

This fast-paced event world brings back the beloved Mayhem balancing for troop training, healing, and movement — but this time, there’s an even bigger twist: Champions are joining the fray!

For the first time, the mighty heroes from our recent Champion worlds will march into a Mayhem battlefield. And to keep things balanced and fair, they come with carefully rebalanced stats and progression to ensure no hero overshadows the chaos.

Rebalanced Champions Arrive

Champions bring powerful bonuses to your villages — from faster troop training to more efficient healing and crop production. For Winter Mayhem, their overall balance has been fine-tuned:

  • Some Champions start with slightly lower values than before.
  • All Champions now gain only half the strength per Tablet compared to the past test rounds — restoring their original, intended growth pace.

This adjustment ensures that every player, new or veteran, can enjoy a more strategic and balanced experience on the battlefield.

The signature Mayhem tuning returns:

  • Faster troop training and healing times
  • Adjusted movement speeds for larger, more dynamic battles
  • Streamlined gameplay that keeps the action intense from day one

Fairer Fights for Treasures

In order to provide a fair experience for all players, we’ve introduced new Treasure rules that make it harder to move Treasures freely between kingdoms. You’ll still be able to raid and conquer — but now you’ll need to earn it against opponents your own size.

Treasure stealing based on Victory Points

When you raid a kingdom with significantly fewer Victory Points, you’ll gain less — or nothing at all:

  • If their kingdom holds less than half your Victory Points, you can’t steal any Treasures from them.
  • If their kingdom has more than half but less than your total Victory Points, you’ll only steal up to 80 % of what you normally would.
  • From equal or stronger kingdoms, you’ll receive the full Treasure reward.

As before, you can never steal more than one third of a treasury in a single attack.

These rules make Treasure raids fairer and reduce coordinated Treasure transfers.

Victory Point loss when Treasures are stolen

A defending kingdom will lose Victory Points when Treasures are successfully stolen from its treasury.
If no Treasures are stolen, no Victory Points are lost.

  • Rank 1 Kingdom: 25 Victory Points per Treasure
  • All other kingdoms: 10 Victory Points per Treasure

Removed (but not stolen) Victory Points are shown with a strikethrough.

Tribute fund and kingdom changes

To prevent Treasure exploits:

  • When a player joins or leaves a kingdom or receives protection, their Tribute fund including Treasures resets to zero.
  • Players without Kingdom cannot have their tribute treasures stolen, nor can they steal treasures
  • Menhir relocations are not affected.

Foreign governors and Treasures
Treasures from foreign governors are no longer shown or collectible through Tribute collection, but they still exist and can be raided under the same rules.

These thresholds encourage battles between evenly matched rivals and make Treasure raids more meaningful — reducing the impact of coordinated Treasure transfers and strengthening fair competition across the Mayhem battlefield
