Twice a year, clocks change in many European countries as we switch between daylight saving time (summer time) and standard time (winter time).
- Summer time: On the last Sunday of March, clocks move forward by one hour, from UTC+1 to UTC+2.
- Winter time: On the last Sunday of October, clocks move back by one hour, from UTC+2 to UTC+1.
But what does this mean for Travian Kingdoms?
Stronger Items and Wonders of the World
ier 2 and Tier 3 items, as well as Wonders of the World, become available at 14:00 UTC+1 (winter time) or UTC+2 (summer time) on newly started game worlds.
For game worlds that started before the time change, these events keep their original timing. This means:
- Switch to summer time: Items and Wonders of the World become available at 15:00 UTC+2.
- Switch to winter time: Items and Wonders of the World become available at 13:00 UTC+1.
Troop Travel Times
The time change does not affect how long your troops travel. However, the displayed arrival time may change if the clocks are adjusted while your troops are on their way.
For example, if you send troops at 23:00 UTC+1 with a travel time of 9 hours before the switch to summer time, they will arrive at 09:00 UTC+2. Without the time change, the arrival time would be 08:00 UTC+1.
The correct arrival time is always displayed in the game.
Plan Ahead
Keep the time change in mind when planning your attacks, reinforcements, and important game events.
