Daylight Saving Time

Every year in Europe, clocks are adjusted for daylight saving time or standard time:

• On the last Sunday of March, clocks turn ahead (-1, a 23-hour day).
• On the last Sunday of October, clocks turn back (+1, a 25-hour day).

This affects the following countries:

• Czech Republic (CZ)
• Germany (DE)
• Spain (ES)
• France (FR)
• Italy (IT)

Worlds with Night Truce

The adjustment of server time does not occur on the day of the time change but on the next working day.

• Switch to daylight saving time: Since the clocks are set forward, the night truce begins one hour later until the server time is adjusted (1:00 AM local time) and ends one hour later (9:00 AM local time).
• Switch to standard time: Since the clocks are set back, the night truce begins one hour earlier until the server time is adjusted (11:00 PM local time) and ends one hour earlier (7:00 AM local time).

The time of night truce is also displayed in the lobby, both in the browser and in the app lobby.

Stronger Items and Wonders of the World

Tier 2 and 3 items and wonders of the world always appear on all game worlds at 2:00 PM UTC+1 (standard time) or UTC+2 (daylight saving time).

For all game worlds that started before the time change:

• Switch to daylight saving time: Stronger items and wonders of the world appear at 3:00 PM UTC+2.
• Switch to standard time: Stronger items and wonders of the world appear at 1:00 PM UTC+1.

Troop Travel Times

The time change does not affect the travel time of troops, but only the arrival time. For troops sent before the time change, the arrival time changes accordingly. For example, troops sent at 11:00 PM with a travel time of 9 hours before the switch to daylight saving time will arrive at 9:00 AM. The correct arrival time is always displayed in the game.
